Alan McCormick is writer in residence at Kingston University’s Writing School, and before that at InterAct Stroke Support, a charity employing actors to read stories to stroke patients . His short stories have won numerous prizes and have been widely published and performed. A recent story ‘Go Wild in the Country’ was included in Salt’s Best British Stories 2015.
His collection of short stories, and illustrated writing inspired by pictures by Jonny Voss, DOGSBODIES and SCUMSTERS, was long-listed for the Edge Hill Prize in 2012. He’s recently completed a second collection, Wild in the Country, and a memoir, Holes.
Jonny Voss studied illustration at Brighton University and then went on to study at the RCA. He has worked as an illustrator since 2000. His personal drawings and commissioned work can be seen at www.jonnyvoss.com
